• Welcome To Georgina’s Gang

Georgina's Gang is a Guernsey registered charity (no. 316) dedicated to those in the Bailiwick Of Guernsey affected by the condition Niemann Pick Type C (NPC). NPC is an extremely rare and devastating condition. Currently there is only one person in the whole of the Channel Islands affected by the condition - Georgina Pearce (we hope it stays that way).

Donna’s Birthday Bash

Donna recently had a big birthday at the Rockmount where we played pub games and had loads of fun. Georgina was really up for celebrating her best mates birthday and eyeing up a certain someone! She had a fab time and I couldn’t believe how long she stayed.  We all paid to play and Donna donated £150.00 to us. Bless her and Thank You xxx

BBC Radio Guernsey

Donna, our vice chairperson was on the radio this morning with the lovely Jenny Kendall-Tobias. one of the things they discussed was Georgina’s new wheelchair, which we have received some donations for and will be fund raising for. It is fabulous goes up and down kerbs with ease, over bumpy ground, gravel and even down on the beach! We have been so lucky with the weather this week as we tried it out. Georgina really loved going on the beach and seeing loads of people and participating instead of having a look from the slip-way.

Alzheimer’s Memory Walk

We are going to have some kids stalls (games, facepainting, tombola) and information at Saumarez Park on 25th September from 10.30am. Niemann Pick Disease Type C is often referred to as childhood alzheimers as the two diseases have the same effect on the brain. It would be lovely to see you and good luck to everyone taking part, enjoy your walk.
